I'm shopping hot hatches right now, and this comes up: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
2013 Focus ST, fully loaded with every option I can imagine, only 1,815 miles... For less than $20k?
I'm going to give them a call today, maybe it has a salvage title, maybe they meant 18,150 miles? KBB on this is $23k-$24k, and according to Yelp, this isn't exactly the most reputable of dealers.
There is a 99% chance that there is some stupid caveat, but just in case there isn't...

Wow I just sent the Autotrader listing to someone I know in the area shopping for the same thing. The lack of free Autocheck worries me.

If it's legit you better get it before someone else does, that's a nice price all day. Plus that black on black looks clean and those recaro seats are sure to keep your ass in one place through the twistys

Yeah, I noticed that. According to Yelp they've pulled the old bait and switch before:
Advertised as a "Clean Title, Never in Accident and Immaculate Condition" Only to drive there, waste my gas and time pointing out all the damage(s) i found with the car and "Oh by the way, it's a Salvage Title", I didn't see the listing myself ~explained the sales person. Would NOT recommend this Stealership.

Something seems off right there. Maybe a frontal collision?

No they all seem to do that. (at least the ones I've seen)
There is another user on here that bought one new and it has that some weird gap.

When I was shopping back in November new 2013 ST3s were going for 22-23 with all the discounts/offers they were throwing at them. 10% depreciation seems about right.

What is it you're seeing? Panel gap?

Ah whoops! It just looks like bad workmanship so I figured maybe it had a collision.

It's still nearly 5k below KBB, though. I can't see a dealer starting that low if it was legit.

Yeah, I thought it was possibly due to a collision/shoddy repair job but The Engineer said it's normal. I just GIS'ed Ford Focus ST and while I do see it, it didn't seem as pronounced as this. Just call the dealership and ask them what's up.

i would simply not buy it just to avoid business with them.

I think I remember reading that they did that for airflow. Could be wrong.
Just called them, waiting to hear back.

I agree with that, but if I can get that good of a deal, I would swallow my pride and buy the shit out of that thing.

Dude I wouldn't buy from them, theres 36 other reviews on the yelp greys that pretty much are all 1 star reviews. Someone on there also said they get most of their cars from auction, so the majority are salvaged if true. Also, someone said they changed their name from AMG auto gallery, pretty rare that a business changes it's name. There also is a ripoff report

Correct, it is for airflow.

Yeah, I get that some people don't like some businesses, and the people who are satisfied usually don't leave reviews, but a good 40 negative reviews? I wouldn't take the chance. Besides, who only drives an ST for 1800 miles then sells it?

Yeah, I just did a little more reading. I don't think I'll be returning their call back.
Not worth jumping through any hoops, if it sounds too good to be true, that's usually because it is.

After a bit more reading, these guys are actually worse than I thought. So, yes, I think I will be avoiding them like the plague.

Yeah, I mean that would be a hell of a find dude, so I get why you would be willing to deal with these guys, hell if I found an ST at that price with that mileage and it checked out I would go out right now and buy it.

Heads up, the wheels were plasti-dipped. The ad says they were powder coated. HA! They also said it has Ricaro seats. This was NOT a dealer car that racked up miles on test drives and lunches. Someone owned this car for a bit. Keep a close eye out for other "mods."

Ah okay well in that case that's fine. Just in other pics didn't seem as pronounced but angles are wonderful things.

Under the hood look stock there's no reason to think those wheels aren't actually powder coated I say go test drive and go for it.

They call it a wagon in CL ad, it's a hatch. There is a Focus ST Estate but not in the US. BS, too good for sure. (partial sarcasm.

Per that link and per an autocheck it seems that this car was wrecked pretty badly before.
ACCIDENT REPORTED (Case #:1309-15801) MULTIPLE IMPACT COLLISION"

Although it's no longer listed on the salvage bid web site a google search of that vin pulls up several hits saying that the car was salvaged in California once already.
